The Humes, or humans to us, have no magic or any abilities to transform themselves into any creature. The only 'gift' they were given was the gift of technology. After "The War" humes built huge walls around their cities, taking their science with them into closed quarters, hoping to keep the Supe's from getting their claws onto precious documents and blue prints. There are five types of humes in this world that live in their sheltered cities.
Royals-
The king and his closest family. Waited on hand and foot constantly would sound like a dream, that is if you wanted that kind of life in the first place. Not everything is as perfect as it seems. But that is a different matter. In order to see the king one must fill out much paperwork and go through a vicious background check. There after, said person would have to be stripped of all clothing and placed into clothes the king's men have provided. Not many people of the common kind go just to visit the king.
Nobles-
The king's distant blood relatives or dearest of friends. The nobles were put in charge of the towns, and with their wealth and knowledge of many things, they built the villages into fine capitals and checkpoints. In fact it was the notion of a noble to put up the protective walls in the first place, the idea spread like wildfire among the rest of the humes.
There is usually one family of noble blood running a city at one time, but there have been instances in a big enough region where two noble families 'watched over' a single city, half to each. Nobles hardly ever leave their manors, if they do they are constantly flocked by their personal Stiansabres.
Stiansabre-
The police or task force for the King and his nobles around the world. It is very hard to get into, and any ranking above 'Bait' is about impossible for just anyone. The ranks are as follow from lowest to highest-
Private, aka Bait: One k to Four k in a city
Basically foot soldiers, they patrol the city like the police in our world would, keeping order and peace amongst the commoners. Depending on the size of the city, the population of the privates can vary.
Captain, aka Calvary: Ten to a City
Just soldiers with horses really. They do rank above the Baits and for every one cavalry leader there are about ten or twenty foot soldier.
Brigadier General ,aka Boss: One to a City
Leads the entire Stiansabre in a city. They make sure that no one is acting out of place among the ranks.
Judge: Three to a City
They are judges of a city's supreme court.
General, aka : Two to a Noble family
These are the Nobles personal protectors
Section 7: A group of seven highly trained members
This group was made strictly for the purpose of killing the King's personal enemies without making a scene. Assassins would be another word for them.
Commoners-
The everyday people of the world. Making about seventy-eight percent of the world's hume population. Taking up the jobs such as, but not limited to-
Market Merchants:
Vendors who sell goods they have made or bought from others in the markets of the city streets. Their busiest time of week is usually Saturday.
Shop Owners/Employees:
Peope who own their own shop or work in one. Shops such as a cafè, materials shop, clothing stores, candy corners, and much more.
In-City Farmers:
Farmers paid by the Nobles to farm inside the city. They plant their crops along the edges of the walls surrounding the city.
Doctors/Nurses:
Every town needs a physician! Most cities have at least two hospitals and one infirmary separate for Stiansabre.
Hunters/Assassins-
People paid to kill. Simple as that. This is usually for people who have been kicked out of the Stiansabre or have been trained all their life to do just this. Hunters and assassins will get the job done no matter what.
