The Briea [/u][/center] "Pronounced Bree-ah. Plural form Brieas. Pronounced Bree-ahs." The world is filled with animals, as everyone knows. From the lowly slug to the mighty elephant, beasts great and small run free on the earth. The word Briea literally means, "those beneath us". Humes have classified all animals as such, no matter what they are.
Thanks to many a millenia of abuse and persecution from humes and supes alike, all animals have evolved and developed a form of telecommunication as to aid each other in their everyday survival. This enables them to speak not just to each other without gestures of ears and snarls, but to other species of creatures as well. The briea can even speak to Humes and Supes through their minds.
Pets of humes have developed a higher form of 'talking' with their owners than the wild Briea. So for example if a Hume pet chanced upon a wild animal the conversation might sound as if a Noble were talking to a commoner. And the higher up you go with the hume's pets, the more sophisticated the speech became.
